No Genocide, No War
As your Assemblymember, Eon will always stand up for human rights with moral clarity and integrity. He opposes Trump’s disastrous foreign policy of maximum aggression, and has vocally called for an end to the genocide in Gaza since it began. While a shocking number of elected officials, including many Democratic leaders, remain silent about our government’s role in the murder and starvation of innocent human beings, from Iran to Gaza to Cuba, Eon will never hesitate to stand up for human rights.
Eon has been a vocal advocate for an end to the genocide in Gaza and Israel's illegal occupation for years, even when it draws attacks from the pro-genocide lobby. He will proudly vote for the Not On Our Dime Act, originally introduced by Zohran Mamdani, which will make it illegal for New York-based institutions to provide financial or material support to illegal settlements. Eon supports the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions movement (BDS) and believes in using the bully pulpit of the Assembly to call for lasting peace and accountability for human rights abuses.
Eon is sick and tired of American tax dollars being used to fund death and destruction overseas, including but not limited to the ongoing genocide of Palestinians, Trump's monstrous war against Iran, and our government's decades-long campaign to sanction and starve the people of Cuba. Unlike some Democrats, Eon is proud to oppose senseless forever wars and vindictive sanctions regimes. As your representative, he will always stand against imperial violence and advocate for spending our tax money on the things we need: schools, healthcare, and social services.
